Training
We have over 14 years experience in providing training in Cognitive Behavioural skills and treatment techniques to a wide range of health care professionals, working in a variety of settings including Military and Civilian, multi-disciplinary teams, NHS PCT’s; Social Services; GP surgeries; British Dental Association; local British Association Behavioural Cognitive Psychotherapies; Chester University, Deeside College, Liverpool University; Bangor University and Salford University.
We are currently closely involved in providing training on the High Intensity Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies initiative (HI IAPT). IAPT is a Government funded training programme to provide an additional 10,000 psychotherapists over 3 years.

Training includes essential skills, ‘top tips’ for assessment, treatment strategies and techniques and also addresses many common problems that can occur in treatment for both therapist and client, suggesting ways to avoid pitfalls in the first instance and strategies for managing problems that may occur.
Sessions can range from half days introducing topics to delegates and providing information on the particular topic to 8 day courses designed to develop required skills.
Course costs vary according to requirement. Minimum cost £300.00 per half day, for numbers up to 25 delegates (cost per head £10.00). Additional numbers can be negotiated, and it is possible to tailor training packages to suite your requirements. All training resources are provided and include detailed handouts for trainees.
